‘Alive’ by Think of England/Libbie Schrader
It’s a song written for or inspired by 9/11. It was released in July 2002. I found Think of England thanks to Jewel (they opened for her Soul City Café program, which opened three shows on her This Way tour, one being here in Phoenix). Think of England has since broken up & it’s almost impossible to find anything online about them anymore. The lead singer Libbie Schrader is still floating around making music, though unsigned, and she’s just as faboulous as ToE was. You can find a full version of ‘Alive’ on her MySpace page…
