I think anything and everything that gives me anxiety was in the dream! It was crazy! I can't really give you the story of the dream, it's far too crazy & does that crazy dream jumping all over the place thing. But here are some of the things that were in the dream:
* Being in school but not being in the right class.
I am not in school, have not been in school for 15 years but being late for school, not knowing my locker combo, and not having my school schedule, etc. are recurring dreams for some reason.
* Being naked in public.
I was shirtless, sans bra, and in class. I have been known to dream that I don't have pants on but most of the time I am totally naked up top.
* Dating.
I pretty much HATE dating! There is nothing more awkward & anxiety filled than me on a date. Especially a first date! In the dream a cute guy in class asked me out & I said I would go.
* The Ex.
Will doesn't give me anxiety so much but the
* No shoes in public.
I either dream I am in the wrong shoes for the situation in the dream (like running in stilettos or being barefoot in the mountains) or I have no shoes. In this dream I had no shoes & I needed to go someplace.
* Not being prepared.
Usually I dream about not being prepared in regards to work or school. Like showing up unprepared for a test. In this dream I didn't have a huge class assignment done...I don't know why...maybe because I was NAKED with NO SHOES??
* Having to pee but not being able to or not having a private place to go.
I just love how your body tries to clue you into having to go to the bathroom while you are sleeping. So subtle. Ha!! I know I cannot be the only one who has "pee dreams". I usually have to go and there is a huge crowd walking through the bathroom stall or something.
* Getting caught being someplace you're not supposed to be.
I break into places a lot in my dreams. Never for any bad reasons. This time I was breaking into a home so I could pee. I ended up knowing the people so it worked out but still.
* Ex best friend.
Why do people who are no longer in your life insist on popping up in dreams?? The house I broke into was a friend of my ex best friend and that relationship was the reason why it was okay when I "broke" into their home. I was terrified they'd find out that we were no longer friends before I got to pee.
It really was the most obnoxious & ridiculous dream! I can laugh at it a bit now but most of the morning when I thought of it I would get anxious and uneasy!
