To say I'm excited about this new album is an understatement! This may sound weird, silly and over dramatic to most of you but when Jack's Manniquin came into my life it change it.
No joke.
When The Glass Passenger came out my reaction to it was visceral. I still remember getting it in the mail (pre-ordered package), opening it and just sitting there listing to it the first time. It had that much of an impact.
"Caves" off The Glass Passenger is still the most heartbreaking, honest & haunting song I've ever heard. Death Cab for Cutie's Sarah Said is a close second.
