I've had to returned 5 of them.
Okay, I bought 7 pairs of shoes.
*Hangs Head*
It's a problem.
I know.
But the problem I'm here to talk about isn't the amount of shoes I bought. I'm here to talk about the problem of I RETURNED 5 pairs of shoes.
Each and every one broke my heart to have to return. Especially the two I decided this morning have to go back.
I seriously hate that when I try shoes on in the store and they seem to fit. I take them home and retry them on to make sure they really fit. The two I decided this morning don't actually fit didn't fall off in the store. They didn't fall off when I wore them around my apartment. The moment I started walking out to my car they wouldn't stay on. I'm guessing it has something to do with the way I walk when I'm outside. Like I'm on a mission. Which I am. I must walk faster or take bigger steps. All I know is it's annoying.
I usually don't buy shoes that are pump style because they almost always fall off my heels. I must have a thin heel or something. I try to wear shoes that strap to my ankle but it's not that easy to find shoes that way. I have more luck finding slip on (pump style?) shoes if they're flat but it's still 50/50. Luckily America Eagle and Mossimo always seem to fit so I have non flip flop or ankle strap shoes.
Hum... I guess I have to amend my count to 8 shoes bought, 6 returned. I bought a pair of shoes a couple of weeks ago with a Macy's Gift Card I won from GoChicOrGoHome and had to return them, which I used the return GC to buy the pair of Baby Phat Platform Pumps I'm returning.
Here's the line up of the heart breakers...
1. Mia Kayte Loafer Pumps
Bought with the Macy's GC I won. I ordered them from Macys.com. I was able to return them to a Macy's store and bought these instead...
2. Baby Phat Chance Platform Pumps
I walked out of the house today with the intent to wear these shoes but between my door and the parking lot I realized they weren't going to stay on my heels.
These bad boys were on clearance and I bought them up with the Baby Phat's, I had some money left on my GC so they were really cheap. I ended up getting 71/2's and they were too snug in the toes. Really. Weird. I've returned these already and have part of the GC waiting for the other GC I will get once I return the Baby Phat's. Then I can start the process of finding the perfect pair of FREE shoes again. *SIGH*
4. Madden Girl Limmeric Stiletto Pump except instead of the bone/tan they were black/tan.
I cannot tell you how sad having to return these prettypretty shoes makes me. I couldn't find the black/tan color combo online but it was stunning! I got them at Ross for $16.99 and could not pass them up!. They had a security tag on them so walking around in the store was impossible. I originally had these on today but when I walked outside they kept falling off. That's when I changed into the Baby Phat's.
5. I bought a pair of nude pumps on super clearance at Ross for $10.99 but they're too big as well. I swear they said they were Jessica Simpson's but the logo was weird so maybe they were something else. Doesn't matter now, they're going back. I can't find them online to show a pic of. I got them in case I changed my mind on the Baby Phat's. Totally bummed.
Can I say that Ross's policy for having the huge security tags chaining a pair of shoes together is dumb. It's impossible to walk around to make sure they fit properly so you have to buy them so you can take them home for a test run. It's dumb! End rant.
I will eventually get my nude shoes. I will!!
I found my navy shoes, even though they aren't exceptional or anything. They are comfortable and cute. And they don't fall off my feet.
