After reading though some of my POF responses I've discovered a very large tactical error on my part. One that will probably end up with me being the next story line for Criminal Minds.
If you recall I listed going to the park/bird preserve in my "About Me" section of my profile. I pride myself on being a "smart girl" and of taking care to not put myself in situations where I am an easy target for serial killers. Skills I like to think I honed while living in the same complex as Mesa's Serial Shooters. I know when I take photo's or post from the park I use the location tag but I figure I pretty much know who is watching me on Instagram and I am 99.8% positive that none of my Facebook friends are criminal intent stalkers or serial killers.
Why Criminal Minds? Well, if you've religiously watched the show, like I do, you too have learned all the nice places serial killers like to take their victims. If you've ever been to the Bird Preserve and really wandered around then you know that it is the perfect place for a serial killer to kill and dump a body. It's quite possible no one would ever find the body. If that happens we wander into the land of Bones, which I will try to stay clear of for this post to keep things less complicated and confusing. This is by no means an endorsement to any serial killers out there to actually use the bird preserve as a killing/dumping ground.
I am a cynical person so everyone on POF is suspect. If you are less suspect than others I will contact you back. If I feel like it. I'm not sure how between the three of us (Crystal, Karie & myself) we did not realize that my profile was going to be seen by men (which by default are men of suspect) who live in the area and may know of the bird park. I might as well have just placed a bright neon sign as my tag line that said, "PERFECT VICTIM WITH PERFECT BUILT IN KILLING/DUMPING GROUND. INQUIRE BELOW". Off hand I can already think of at least 5 of my favorite places (possibly 7 for the exceptionally talented serial killer) at the park that are ideal for raping/killing/dismembering/eating by a serial killer.
I have since rectified the error but now I am unsure how to proceed with the inquiries that I got mentioning the bird preserve. Do I ignore to be on the super safe side or do I let it play out and see if any murderistic tendencies show up during our chat?

I don't know if its the best policy but it sure does help!

*Neighbors: Single mother (just finished up cancer treatment)
& her two sons (aprox 7-10 yrs old).
They live above & across from me.
The youngest yells, slams doors & beats things against the
stairway railings outside. In turn, the mom yells back. I think they're all having a hard time adjusting to moving here,
the mom being sick & life in general.

Edits:
*By "Bix" I totally mean Bex. I am so sorry for botching that. I don't know what my glitch was but I DO actually know the name of the blog that I follow & love. See...Bex...A Style Diary*The necklace isn't named Itty Bitty...that is another necklace I am loving elsewhere (I'm guessing). It's called "Tiny Riveted Initials" by the Noisy Cricket.
Proof possitive I should not be "vloging" (or blogging for that matter) when sleep deprived!
Also, this is what I look like in the video...
For some reason the video shows well on my camera but not when posted. Heh, will work on that next time.
Next time I hope no not ramble as much and to keep it under 10 minutes. So sorry for the over adundance of the use of "ummm" and "uhh..." & the spastic fidgeting. While its totally normal I know it can be annoying & a bit difficult to sit through.

I love shopping for FREE!
I just went on what I consider a spending spree on Amazon. I got 1 DVD set and 3 CD's for FREE. Super cool, right! At least, I think so!
Somehow someway I ended up joining Research.FM. If you qualify & complete a radio music survey you get a $5 gift certificate to Amazon. It's been so long that I honestly can't remember how long I've been doing it or, as said before, any of the details how. All I know is within the last month or two I've gotten a lot of survey notices and been able to complete most of them. In total I've been paid $65 in Amazon gift certificates.
I finally got some cash built up at Crowdtap so I donated some to my charity (American Red Cross) and got the rest on an Amazon gift certificate.
I figured with all the $ in GC's to Amazon I should check things out. I first went and looked at what was still sitting in my Wish List. Since I've been looking for some new tunes I decided to finally grab some of the CD's I'd been wanting and to order a couple new CD's that are brand new. I then checked the pricing on a DVD set that I needed to replace and since the price was good & would end up being FREE I figured a "spending spree" was in order.

Supernatural Season 1 .
A replacement because I lent it out and it got pawned by my friends douchbag of an ex. Who pawns someone else's stuff? Especially if it's something borrowed from someone else?!

Dawn Mitschele's In the Moonlight CD.
I have an EP she cut prior to releasing this full CD. I seriously LOVE her. Her voice is so calming & beautiful.

Death Cab for Cutie's new Codes and Keys CD.
Just released & I've been dying to get it.
I haven't even heard anything from it yet. I want to be surprised.
Yes, I am that positive that I will LOVE it.
I pre-ordered Gavin Degraw's Sweeter CD.
I have to wait until it's release date in mid August which is a bummer but at least I'll have it when it's released. No waiting.

Getting To Know You...er, Me! #3
Slightly late due to the Memorial Day holiday...
1. would you rather go on a picnic or to a bbq?
This is a really hard decision. I haven't had many occasions to go on a picnic but they seem so fun and relaxing. A BBQ seems more exciting and someone else does the cooking. At least, all the BBQ's I go to do. Nobody wants to be at a BBQ where I'm the cook...especially not me. I guess it would depend on the picnic or BBQ.
It's a great non-answer, I know. =)
2. would you rather go bra-less or panty-less?
Panty-less! People would get hurt if I went bra-less. So sad but so true.
3. would you rather go on a $5000 shopping spree at your favorite store or go on a $5000 vacation?
Really, why does one have to choose?? Right now, I'd say a $5000 vacation. But really, I think I'd split the difference and go shopping with half for vacation clothes for the vacation I'd take with the other half.
4. would you rather eat escargot or sauteed crickets?
I would rather go hungry and not eat at all. THANKYOUVERYMUCH!
5. would you rather go on survivor or the amazing race?
An ex-friend swore we needed to go on the Amazing Race together and I always thought she was CRAZY! If I had to choose, and neither was not a choice, I'd go with the Amazing Race. I can have my BFF there and there is far more niceties there than on Survivor. At least, that's my take considering I don't watch either.
6. would you rather be hot or cold?
This may sound crazy, but I'd much rather be hot. I may be miserable when hot but I am far less miserable hot than when I am cold. I am an Arizonan born and bread. I get cold if it drops below 85 degrees. I may have a different momentary thought when driving around in the middle of summer, with 115 degree weather, without air conditioning but I would honestly do that than have to dig my car out of snow and drive around freezing all winter.
7. would you rather go to the beach or lake?
BEACH. Hands down!! There is just something about the vastness of the ocean and the feel of the sand beneath my feet.
8. would you rather not shave your legs for a month in the summer or your armpits?
I'd rather not shave my legs. I don't know why but that is the first answer that came to mind.

30 Days of Music: Day 29
Day 29 - A song from your childhood:
'Eye of the Tiger' - Survivor
'Eye of the Tiger' - Survivor
Plus, no mention of 'Eye of the Tiger' can go by without thinking of this little gem...
Thank you, Jensen Ackles & Supernatural!
I totally remember running around & dancing in the bar my mom hung out in when I was a little kid to this song. I have always loved it and I'm pretty sure I always will because it is THAT awesome!
Also, when I think of music from my childhood I can't forget... 'Maniac' from Flashdance. I have a memory of Nick & I eating at Long John Silvers way back in the day & that song coming on the radio. We were being goofy and Nick started singing, 'She's a hush puppy, a hush puppy..." and I can't ever listen to that song without Nick's version singing along in my head.

30 Days of TV Shows: Day 30
Day 30 - Saddest character death:
Joyce Summers – ‘The Body’ Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
She was the first, actually, the only (I think) character to die a natural death. All the characters reactions were so real & heartbreaking. Joyce dying was totally unexpected.
Jo & Ellen Harvelle – ‘Abandon All Hope…’ Supernatural.
Considering everybody has died on Supernatural (literally) Jo & Ellen’s deaths were shocking, poignant & gave Jo’s character real purpose. The fact that Ellen sacrificed herself to save Sam & Dean so they could continue their mission to return the Devil to Hell & to help Jo finish the task she needed to do but couldn’t because she was dying was just gut wrenching! Ellen, also, obviously made the choice because she knew she couldn’t go on in a world where her daughter wasn’t with her. It shows a lot about their bond & the progression of the mending of their relationship.
The fact that Jo & Ellen died saving the Winchester boys, also, shows a lot of forgiveness & acceptance of their families’ pasts together. Honestly, thinking of this last part of the episode gets me a little bit choked up still.

30 Days of TV Shows: Day 26
Day 26 - OMG WTF? Season finale:
For a while it seem like every season finale out there was an OMG WTF?! It was like everyone was competing for the biggest & baddest “Yes that just happened & will screw everything up next season” moment.
Case in point… The last two season finale’s of Private Practice. Oh, and last season’s finale of Gray’s Anatomy. Most stressful hour (or two) of my life!...and there have been some pretty damn stressful hours thanks to stupid TV season finale cliffhangers!
I’m not going to mention the last 5 season finale’s of Supernatural. Especially, not season 4 when Dean couldn’t find way way out of his CrossRoads Demon deal, died by being shredded by the unseen Hell Hounds & went to Hell to be tortured. Nope, not going to do it because I’m sure by now everyone is sick of hearing about my totally justifiable obsession with Supernatural.

30 Days of TV Shows: Day 24
Day 24 - Best quote:
First and formost…Merry Christmas Eve!
Okay, back to the task at hand… How do you pick a best quote? TV is littered with them!! I can think of at least 10 from Firefly, Supernatural, Buffy…
Supernatural quotes:
“Driver picks the music; shotgun shuts his cakehole!” - Dean
"Hey, see if they've got any pie. Bring me some pie. I love me some pie." -Dean
“I shot the sheriff” - Henriksen
“But you didn't shoot the deputy." - Dean
"On Thursdays, we're teddy bear doctors." Dean
"I found a liquor store. And I drank it." Castiel
“You think you're funny?” - Henricksen
“I think I'm adorable.” - Dean
“You mean 'protection against a demon' salt or 'oops I spilt the popcorn' salt?” Dean
“Umm, these are amazing. It's like deep fried crack. Try some.” – Ruby (about french fries)
“Who do I have to kill to get some french fries around here?” – Ruby (after possessing a coma patient who just was just pronounced dead)
“You're not gonna bust out the misty goodbye speech, okay? I mean, if this is my last day on Earth, I do not want it to be socially awkward.” - Dean
Firefly quotes:
“I aim to misbehave.” Mal
“Well, look at this. Appears we got here just in the nick of time! What does that make us?” - Mal
“Big Damn Heroes, Sir!” - Zoe
“My god — you’re like a trained ape. Without the training.” - Simon
“Yes, sir, Cap'n Tight-Pants.” – Kaylee
“She's a mite whimsical in the brainpan.” - Mal
Buffy quotes:
“I didn't jump. I took a tiny step, and there conclusions were.” – Buffy
“Bored now.” - Vampire Willow
“I laugh in the face of danger. Then I hide until it goes away.” – Xander
“Love makes you do the wacky.” – Willow
"Can you vague that up for me?" - Buffy
