This is NOT me....
As you can see it was only $10. It's SOOO comfy!! Plus, I love the belt I bought to go with it ($7).
The problem is
a) its fairly see through, especially in the sun
b) I am no the model in the top photo, I am not anywhere NEAR flat chested so I don't (ie. can't) have a strapless bra.
Since I wanted the dress SOOO much I rationalized in my brain that wearing a spaghetti strap tank & my bra under the dress looked fine. Now that I am over my high of shopping I think the whole top part looks like crap on me.

I forgot to take some pictures this morning when I was trying to decide if I really wanted to keep this dress or not. I'd been trying to get photo's with me in the dress since I bought it.
Obviously, that never happened.
I'm not sure if it's my body shape or my fashion sense but I've never been able to pull off tanks under strapless dresses or tops. Rarely can I even pull off tanks under spaghetti straps for that matter. I see girls do it all the time and they look so super cute!
I am so super bummed but I am going to have to go take this dress back. I've turned over a new leaf and am no longer keeping clothing that doesn't fit or look the way I want. I'm saving both money and closet space this way. Plus, it also helps with my self esteem because every time I try the items on I feel horrible about my body.
I've tried other Maxi dresses but they've always been too long and made me look like a short little troll. This dress is totally too long, if I kept it I'd have to hem it a few inches but somehow it didn't make me look short.
It, also, made me look super skinny.
Okay, so now I'm even more bummed about taking the dang dress back. Maybe I'll have to go get ANOTHER opinion.
